A re-working, re-editing, and restructuring of Sam Fuller's The Big Red One bringing it closer as originally envisioned by the late filmmaker. Disa and Tommy are board by catching small fishes by the pier. They get a hold of a boat and head out to sea to catch a big one. But the fight with the big one turns out to be more than they can handle and soon they find themselves stranded on a reef. They on one reef and their boat on an other. The tie starts coming in and the fight with the big one is not over.

Anna has just buried her beloved aunt as California waits once more for the big quake to hit. Unsure of where she is going, she climbs into her old convertible for a trip through the desert. Along the way she meets a series of bizarre characters, including two dancing glitter girls, a crazy jogger and a heartbreaking crooner. Anna's friends and family also appear repeatedly to her in her car for imaginary conversations. The levels of time and perception, of the past and present, begin to merge and the trip increasingly becomes a journey into Anna's consciousness.

Eduardo is an obsessive and efficient oil plant worker who finds his solitary routine is altered when summoned to travel to Ushuaia for a few days. The trip and reunion with an old friend and his family tested and make something in it is in motion allowing you rebuild your past, present and maybe the future.
